Magnific Pricing: No Free Tier, and a Credit Choice That Changes Your Rate 3x

Confirmed directly from Magnific's own site: no free plan for individuals, and picking the wrong credit option on Pro Starter roughly triples your cost per credit for the same price.

No free tier for individuals

Unlike most platforms in this category, there is no recurring or one-time free allowance for an individual account. The entry point is a paid subscription. API access draws from the same credit pool as your plan rather than being billed separately, so there is no standalone per-call price sheet to check against.

What the numbers mean per credit

Magnific's credits are a much smaller unit than most competitors', so raw per-credit prices look tiny: Premium works out to roughly €0.0008 per credit monthly (€0.0006 annual), and Premium+ is about the same rate at a higher volume. Pro Starter is genuinely a choice, not a fixed number: taking the 112,500-credit option costs roughly €0.00078/credit, but taking the 300,000-credit option at the identical €88 price drops that to roughly €0.00029/credit, nearly 3x cheaper per credit for the same money. If you pick Pro Starter, take the higher credit count unless you have a specific reason not to.

These per-credit figures are not comparable to other platforms' credits, since each platform defines and prices its own credit unit differently. Use them only to compare Magnific's own plans against each other.

What we found looking past our own usage

We generate through Magnific regularly and have not personally hit the issues below, but we would be misrepresenting the platform if we only reported our own experience. Trustpilot reviews describe two-factor login codes arriving late, and a more serious pattern, if accurate: some users report credit allowances that used to last around 20 days now exhaust in roughly a day since the April 2026 rebrand from Freepik. We have not independently confirmed that pattern ourselves.

Should you subscribe

The model breadth (Seedance, Veo 3.1, Kling, Runway Gen-4, Hailuo, PixVerse and more, all from one credit pool) and the developer-facing API are why this site runs on it. Weigh the reliability complaints above against your own testing before committing to a plan sized for consistent throughput.
