Krea Pricing: The $9/mo Plan Other Sites Mention Doesn't Exist
Confirmed directly from Krea's own site: Free, Pro at $35, Max at $105, Business at $200. The widely-cited $9/mo Basic tier is not on the live page.
Krea aggregates 60+ third-party models while also shipping its own open-weighted foundation model, Krea 2. Its pricing is confirmed directly from krea.ai, and one widely-cited tier from other sources does not actually exist on the live page.
What it costs, and one number that does not match

Several comparison sites describe a $9/mo "Basic" tier sitting between Free and Pro. We could not find it on Krea's live pricing page as of this writing. We are not asserting whether it was discontinued or those sources are simply stale, only that it does not currently exist where we checked.

What the numbers mean per unit
Pro works out to roughly $0.00175 per unit monthly ($0.00105 annual). Max is the more interesting case: at its minimum 40,000-unit allocation it costs about $0.00263/unit, but at its maximum adjustable 100,000 units for the same $105 it drops to about $0.00105/unit, matching Pro's annual rate. If you take Max, take the higher unit allocation. Business comes out to roughly $0.0025/unit monthly, actually worse per-unit than Pro, since Business is priced for seat count and admin features rather than raw volume.
These per-unit figures only compare Krea's own plans against each other; a Krea unit is not the same as a credit on any other platform in this category.

Billing patterns worth knowing before you subscribe
Krea's Trustpilot rating runs notably lower than other platforms we cover, around 2.7 out of 5 across roughly 80 reviews. The recurring complaints: unresponsive support with no live chat, unexpected auto-renewal charges, and a specific, repeated allegation that a previously advertised free-tier feature was quietly removed without notice.
Should you subscribe
The model catalog is one of the widest we have seen, and Pro's annual rate is genuinely competitive once you commit to a year. Use the free tier thoroughly first given the billing complaints above, and read the cancellation terms closely before committing to a paid plan.
